YO! Happy New Year

YO! Happy New Year from SSTV Raps. Be safe tonight and watch out for the cops and the reaper.

Khujo Goodie-"Shittin Me"

Heres a newer joint from Khujo Goodie. Im just glad to see cuz is still going hard after the accident. Never lost a step.

Goodie Mob featuring Outkast - Black Ice best quality

I dont know who the dude is at the front of this video, he looks like he's on leave from a VH1 reality show but anyway. Goodie Mob as you all know is a Atlanta based group who has always strayed in their own direction. The group members consist of Cee-Lo, Khujo, T-Mo Goodie, and the always cool Big Gipp. The Group became active in making music in 1995 , but have officially been together since 1992. FYI If you didnt know Goodie Mob stands for (Good Die Mostly Over Bullshit)

Main Source - Just Hangin' Out

This one goes out to my Home-boy Leroy Simmons.

Main Source-I'm Looking At The Front Door

Main Source was an innovative, acclaimed Toronto and New York-based hip hop group comprising Toronto natives Sir Scratch, K-Cut, and Queens natives Large Professor and Mikey D.
Their first album, Breaking Atoms, featured conscious MC tracks such as "Looking at the Front Door" and "A Friendly Game of Baseball" and "Watch Roger Do His Thing" as well as the first on-record appearance of Nas on "Live at the Barbeque", which also featured Joe Fatal and Akinyele. Because of business differences, the group broke up before their second album, tentatively entitled The Science could be released. However, Sir Scratch and K-Cut released a second album under the Main Source name, entitled Fuck What You Think, with new recruit Mikey D on vocals; however, the album was shelved due to inner conlficts between the record label and group management. Singer Madonna sampled the bassline from "What You Need", on Fuck What You Think, in the song "Human Nature" for her 1994 album, Bedtime Stories.

R.I.P. MC Breed

Born Eric Breed in Flint, MI Breed was a gifted MC who dropped hits with 2 Pac & Too Short. He definitely left his mark on hip hop and will be greatly missed.

YO! Put on your Play Cloths

YO! after a long time at work we finaly dropped the Hoilday 2008 Play Cloths delivery. Although these initial styles were meant to be branding pieces I think they came out pretty good. Commonwealth in VA showed love with a in store line launch. The line was crazy outside. I will post pictures when i get them. 1

Commodore Vic-20 commercial

And now a word from our sponsor.

Mack 10 - Foe Life

Yeeeaaahhhhh!!! Its the best video ever. This joint got out of hand when Mack 10 jumped off the roof landed on a car and smiled at the camera. Mack 10 was born in Inglewood, CA in 1971. He began his career as a member of Westside Connection alongside Ice Cube and WC. In 2000 Mack married T Boz from TLC but that didn't last long because in 2004 she filed for divorce and a restraining order. Mack 10 left Westside Connection in 2008 after beefing with Ice Cube. Mack 10 has sold over 2.4 million records as a solo artist.

Ice T - Colors

This joint was dope. This song probably ruined my life as a child lol.

ICE T - O.G. Original Gangster

Sorry about the slight vacation from the blog but I've been mad busy. I guess I'll come back on some gangster shit. Before Law & Order Ice T was one of the west coast most prolific artist. Ice T was born Tracy Marrow in Newark, New Jersey in 1958. He lost both parents by the 5th grade due to heart attacks and went to live with his aunt in Cali. Ice attended Crenshaw High School and went on to join the 25th Infantry Division in the united states army. After Ice left the army he went hard on the rhymes. His first song was "The Coldest Rap" but his first official gangsta rap joint was "6 In The Morning"

Jaz-O Featuring Jay-Z- Hawaiian Sophie

Look at Jay in the back looking mad crazy.

Jay-Z-Where Im From

This is by far my favorite Jay-Z song. You can argue all you want but he never spit anything more descriptive than this song in his whole life.

Jay-Z -Friend or Foe

"Jay-Z who? The skinny nigga from on the boat" hahahahaha. This used to be shit. They shot this video perfect in my opinion.

Jay-Z - I Can't Get Wit That

I just came back from a Jay-Z and T.I. concert so I guess Ill do a little history on these dudes. Jay-Z grew up in Marcy Houses in Brooklyn as you probably already know. His father abandoned the family when Jay was just a shorty. He had his fair share of trouble when he was young as we all did, but his led to him shooting his brother in the arm for stealing his clothes when he was just 12 years old. Jay attended Eli Whitney High School along with the rapper AZ (I guess that school had a thing for letter names). Eli Whitney eventually closed down and he started school at George Westinghouse Information Tech High School where he became classmates with Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes. Hov never graduated, he had other things on his mind. They used to call Sean Carter "Jazzy" in his neighborhood when he was growing up. Thats what spawned the name Jay-Z.

Supreme 2008 Fall/Winter Lookbook

Yo! some people may not agree but I personally think Supreme is dope. I like how they just make simple clean garments hot. Small details make all the difference.

Dead Prez- Hip Hop

I remember I was banging this album on my way to the Bronx from Columbus, OH. We where 9 deep in two cars and all we played the entire way there was Big L and Dead Prez. Stic Man and M1 come with politically conscious lyrics that force you to play your position in the struggle. Dead Prez lyrics seem to heavily focus on revolution, institutional racism, critical pedagogy, police, capitalism, education, prison systems, religion, activism against governmental repression, and corporate control over the media. We need more like em.

Mad Skillz - The Nod Factor

Mad Skillz is an artist from back in the day when saying something worth a damn counted for something. He along with Danja Mowf, Lonnie B, and Kalonji, make up Supafriendz. He was born in Detroit yet hales from Richmond, VA and right now he's probably most well known for his year end wrap up that he drops every December.

Supreme Miles Davis Tees

Masqualero - Miles Davis

I guess Supreme decided to kill. They showed love to the late jazz great Miles Davis with these shirts showcasing album artwork. Since we're talking about Miles we might as well play some murder.

Micro R/C 4-Channel Flying Saucer

I guess im a little bit like Kanye because I always wanted a spaceship. Looks like I don't have to wait any longer. The Micro R/C 4-Channel Flying Saucer is ill. It's a remote control unidentified flying object, whats better than that. The average person would assume that a Micro Flying Saucer would be hard to keep balanced in the air, but this problem is solved by the built in solid-state accelerometer. The accelerometer can sense tilting on the two axes and will adjust the power of each propeller to keep the Flying Saucer rock solid in the sky. Yo! thats dope.

Kaossilator Touchpad Synthesizer

The Kaossilator Touch-pad Synthesizer is kind of dope. Its a mini synthesizer that uses a touch-pad instead of keys or buttons. All you have to do is move your finger across the revolutionary touch-pad and the synthesizer automatically changes pitch ,or left to right to change the note.
